Yestarday   11^th of December  it was a great Christmas Parade  in Jersey Channel Islands  La Fête dé Noué, which translates from the local Jersey Norman-French as ‘Christmas Festival’  was a great success.

      If you are asking yourself why I’m writing this post about La Fête dé Noué ,what is the connection with personal development  and my answer is because beside being a ‘Christmas Festival’ with amazing  floats , great costumes ,music,a lot of light and colour I was able to see a big curiosity for this parade,a large number of people came to see it without taking the bad weather conditions in consideration.They were prepared with waterproof jackets,strong umbrellas,cameras and a big motivation to see something different and unic in this period before Christmas which should be admired by the rest of the people who preferred to stay in the confort zone ,in a warn and safety house.

       I have to add that at this La Fête dé Noué I was able to see an incredible Christmas show but after it for sure it was a big amount of work for all those who participate at the parade.From small kids to the old  ones a great effort was involved into this celebration,they didn’t stop even it was very cold outside and heavily raining and they were still able to have fun,to smile and to finish the parade as they have  planned all year.

      I’ve learned from this La Fête dé Noué this:

• There are as well persons who are working really hard and they are passionate about this.
• Going forwards even some obstacles might appear;
• Only when creativity and hard work are combined the results are great.

      This ‘ La Fête dé Noué ’ had the power to show me that we have to appreciate the culture,other people work and having fun.
