A quick post tonight about running and why is important for our life in a time when most of us are looking generally how to get more money ,love and many others.
Two days ago I’ve realized I’ve caught a cold and it was only an easy stage and usually when is like this I’m running 30 minutes intensively,during this one first time I begin heavily sweat, as soon I arrive home I go and make a normal shower and go straight to bed under the warm pillow and I have to add that I eat some fresh peaces of garlic with my regular food!!( this is my way to combat the flu for you is recommended to follow the normal medical procedures or to find what’s working for you).
In the first night I find an excuse like usually ,our brain is an expert on this:“It’s too late today,is better to take some medicine and make a tea” and imagine yesterday morning my nouse started to give me indications of a worse flu and all day long I’ve used many tissues ,I’ve lost the number of how many I’ve destroyed :D.
Last night I’ve taken a warm jumper on me and I went running for half of hour,I have to mention that I’m used to run very often so it’s not to much and when I was at more than half of the way I’ve started to feel some pains in my shoulders.I ‘ve continued with my running and my “ fake pains” without any reason totally disappeared and in that moment I’ve realized something very important and today I’m much better.
That important thing was that my mind-our biggest enemy , http://myperfectevolution.com/index.php/my-evolution/the-biggest-enemy-in-our-life-our-mind/, was looking after an excuse for stopping me from running ,to go back into the confort zone,where I feel safe and comfortable.I was blocking myself from assuming the responsibility today for my life and finally my motivation was bigger then this excuse and do it anyway.It was more then helpfull that I was focus on my breathing and I have to admit again that the power of now “Being here and now” is the best.
Always doesn’t matter if you are running ,working to lose weight,eating healty food ,socializing …..just when you are 10 m close to get what you want after a hard work ,our mind comes along with some excuses to stop what you was doing till that moment and to go back to the old rutines even laziness but I have to add that it’s in your power to finish what you’ve been started beliving in yourself and being happy.
Practical excercice for you:
Pick one of your favourite way of movement ( walking ,running,swimming ….) and instead of your 30 lines you are used to to when you go to the pool increase the number at 35 and see what is your reaction of your body…….., if your mind tries to stop you or you are succesfull on doing the extra 5 lines and after you fell like a winner.
